Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with media teams to set up and maintain marketing measurement configurations using Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Implement and debug tags in Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Set up and manage GA4 custom events and key events to align with business objectives.
  • Assist in configuring GA4 integrations with external systems, including but not limited to Google Ads, BigQuery, Salesforce, and Meta.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tracking issues to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Support the Senior Analyst in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights for marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows in Smartsheet to streamline data processes and improve efficiency.
  • Create dashboards and reports to visualize key performance metrics and trends.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Proven ability to set up GA4 custom and key events.
  • Proficiency in GTM tag implementation and debugging.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Smartsheet for workflow optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience creating custom dimensions in GA4.
  • Knowledge of importing and configuring offline conversions in GA4.
  • Expertise in cross-domain tracking implementations.
  • Understanding of property/sub-property setups in GA4.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript for customizing tracking scripts and events.
  • Ability to edit and manage datalayer events in GTM, including defining custom variables and triggers.
  • Experience with server-side tagging implementations.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics (GA4) and/or Google Tag Manager.
