Modular Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert on Modular Center of Excellence, (MCOE), capabilities, modular relay playbook, DC realignment, and ongoing project store updates.
• Conduct assortment and space analytics at DC/Store/item levels to drive optimization recommendations to merchants.
• Lead and manage modular relay execution through the development of multiple versions of planograms based on merchant-aligned assortment, clustering, and fixture variations.
• Regularly assess and communicate progress and/or support needs for successful project completion.
• Review and validate all planograms for adherence to strategy and conformity to MCOE standards; apply revisions as needed.
• Own management of ongoing trait maintenance and DC realignments.
• Maintain a robust database environment to include store/item attribution, performance data uploads, and ongoing project store creation.
• Conduct ad-hoc analytics to answer business management questions.
• Provide support for business reviews, insights development, weekly reporting, and other special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Category Management, Sales, Shopper Insights, Analytics, Retail Management, or equivalent.
• Ability to manage projects, work independently and within a team to deliver time-bound projects.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Aptitude to develop business and category knowledge, conduct data analytics, and manage complex data sets.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience using Blue Yonder (JDA) Space Management is a plus.
• Understanding of Walmart end-to-end modular relay development process helpful.
• Limited travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Educational background with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
