About the Role

The Experience Partner - Life Sciences (Pharma / BioTech / Medical Device) at Cognizant Moment is responsible for demand generation, solutioning, storytelling, and account management within the Life Sciences industry. The role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to build innovative solutions that support client needs and drive growth in the digital experience space, leveraging AI and data insights to deliver hyper-personalized experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate demand for Cognizant Moment offers by understanding industry trends, crafting sales plans, leading pipelines, and building solutions based on client problem statements.
  • Build compelling solutions for internal and external Life Sciences stakeholders by assembling and leading pursuit teams, and being accountable for the story, deal structure, and profitability.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by establishing relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction, and proactively generating thought leadership to anticipate market evolution.
  • Collaborate across Cognizant by assembling skills within the organization to respond to client needs, working with internal account teams, consulting, data, and engineering units to deliver optimal solutions.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand business challenges and industry trends, translating them into experience solutions that generate growth.
  • Deep understanding of the Life Science industry from drug discovery to commercialization, including experience working with clients via agency, consultancy, or other partners.
  • Experience with Digital Experience Platforms, Design, Marketing, Content, and Commerce.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial processes, pre-commercialization stages, and brand/product launch strategies.
  • Effective executive communication skills and ability to create compelling presentations.
  • Outstanding relationship management skills with customers, market teams, and practice experts.
  • Ability to analyze sales opportunities, qualify leads, and craft pitches, proposals, GTM strategies, and sales plans.
  • Willingness to travel as required, with proximity to Chicago preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Life Sciences clients in a digital agency or consultancy environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the Life Sciences space.
  • Familiarity with AI, Data, and Engineering teams within Cognizant.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with Life Sciences clients, including knowledge of drug discovery, commercialization, and marketing.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, storytelling, and client management.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and assemble resources within the organization.

  • Annual base salary between $140,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
