About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multimedia content that incorporates visual, auditory, and emotional elements.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends to create engaging and innovative marketing materials.
• Manage social media platforms, email campaigns, and track statistical growth.
• Optimize content and campaigns for search engine performance (SEO).
• Act as a brand ambassador to inspire and motivate audiences.
• Engage in public relations, radio appearances, and community outreach to build brand awareness.
• Research to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Manage digital advertising efforts to drive growth and achieve marketing objectives.
• Hold a drone certification and operate drones for marketing purposes, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
• Maintain experience with nomenclature for inventory, technical equipment, and office supplies.
• Work independently while effectively managing tasks and responsibilities.
• Maintain professionalism and demonstrate courtesy in all interactions.
• Work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with FERPA regulations and handle sensitive student information responsibly.
• Demonstrate understanding of journalistic ethics, copyright regulations, and media guidelines.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure content respects privacy laws and ethical standards.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in multimedia production, including video, photography, and editing.
• Proficiency in video production, photography, and editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with livestreaming, CMS platforms like WordPress, social media tools, analytics (Google Analytics), and SEO strategies.
• Strong skills in video production, photography, graphic design, storytelling, and writing for marketing materials.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and trends, manage multiple projects, and work independently or collaboratively.
• Physical ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in various conditions, and work in positions requiring prolonged standing or sitting.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for events and media production.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect while representing the college.
• Passion for education, community engagement, and amplifying student and alumni voices.
