About the Role

As part of Cigna's Risk Management and Underwriting (RMUW) organization, the Client Strategy, Consulting and Analytics organization is committed to providing our external clients with analytical reporting and consultation that is relevant and actionable. The organization provides insights that enable employers to make strategic decisions regarding Cigna's products and services. The role involves conducting research for clients, articulating findings, and working in a consultative manner to support enterprise growth goals. The position serves as the external face of Cigna's analytic capabilities, delivering customized presentations and insights-driven recommendations to clients to help mitigate trends and improve client wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research and analysis for clients, preparing clear, concise, and actionable client-specific reports and presentations.
Translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations, effectively telling a story to explain client performance and suggest future actions.
Lead client meetings by presenting customized analyses, explaining findings, and providing consultation to help clients understand drivers of their results.
Collaborate with internal teams to prepare for client interactions, ensuring understanding of reporting capabilities and analytics options.
Partner with cross-functional teams on various special projects and initiatives throughout the year.
Identify potential Cigna programs and services that could benefit the client based on analysis.
Assist sales teams with customized reporting tailored to specific client needs, such as geographic or population-specific data.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree.
5+ years of healthcare experience with demonstrated business results in client-facing roles and analytical/technical knowledge.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Tableau or Cognos for reporting.
Ability to learn new technical tools and programs quickly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with internal and external clients.
Ability to translate ambiguous data into purposeful analysis and results.
Strong presentation skills, with experience leading meetings lasting 1-3 hours.

Nice to Have

Experience with industry, market, and competition analysis.
Self-driven and motivated to approach complex questions creatively.

Qualifications

Educational background: Bachelor's Degree.
