About the Role

Spring by Citi is Citi's global digital payment acceptance service for enabling ecommerce (B2C and B2B) funds flow for enterprise merchants across 23 markets around the world. Spring by Citi offers acceptance of locally relevant payment methods and seamless access to Citi's industry-leading treasury solutions and banking services across Citi's proprietary global payments network. The North America Product Commercialization Lead will be responsible for driving revenue growth and adoption of Spring by Citi in North America, requiring a deep understanding of the payments landscape, technical proficiency, and strong client engagement skills. The role encompasses strategic, technical, and commercial responsibilities, including developing solutions, collaborating with teams, and managing product performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving Spring by Citi's revenue through strategic commercialization including developing an optimized Citi processing solution in partnership with Citi's Consumer and Commercial Card businesses.
  • Translating technical product aspects into client-friendly language and ensuring solutions meet client requirements.
  • Working closely with sales, marketing, product, implementation and client coverage teams to identify opportunities and win deals.
  • Leading discussions with clients, acting as a subject matter expert, and gathering feedback to shape product strategy.
  • Developing pricing strategies, marketing materials and sales tools to support product adoption.
  • Monitoring product financial performance, identifying opportunities and gaps and developing business strategies.
  • Training sales teams on new Spring by Citi features and capabilities.
  • Assessing and mitigating risks related to payments and compliance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in payments, with a focus on B2C and B2B payments, payment gateway technology, APIs, card acquiring, APMs, and the global payments landscape.
  • Experience working with global merchants, understanding their payment needs, and pitching solutions to e-commerce teams.
  • Ability to design innovative solutions for complex consumer payment needs.
  • Understanding of payment risk dynamics and compliance requirements.
  • Experience driving commercialization efforts for new solutions.
  • Strong technical and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Knowledge of merchant buying behavior, payments landscape, and emerging payment trends.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
