OR Data Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the OR staff in the optimal use of computer system applications, including coordinating integration of OR systems with internal and external systems.
• Serve as a liaison to other hospital departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, Admitting, Infection Control, Risk Management, IT&S, and HIM.
• Demonstrate skills in installation, planning, coordinating, and educating on system applications, upgrades, and training of computer informational systems.
• Manage the direction, implementation, administration, and maintenance of the Meditech System related to Surgical Services information systems functions.
• Provide user training and education on the Meditech system for Surgical Services staff and related hospital departments.
• Ensure data integrity through periodic audits and review/revise policies and procedures related to system software use.
• Generate reports and analyze Surgical Service statistics, trends, and profiling.
• Analyze, enter data, and audit all patient charges for Surgical Services and Central Sterile Departments.
• Review the charge master and submit changes or updates to the Materials Manager, working closely to ensure charge accuracy.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• 5 years of recent OR Circulator or Educator experience (preferred).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Meditech or similar hospital information systems.
• Experience in surgical services or related healthcare roles.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
