Paid Search Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Own, develop and manage paid search strategies and external paid search agency relationships.
• Manage, measure, and evaluate paid search agency performance.
• Collaborate with analytics teams and external resources to improve data and insights.
• Partner with agency and analytics teams to deliver in-depth reporting, analysis, and insights to stakeholders.
• Oversee and drive ongoing optimization efforts to meet sales and cost per acquisition (CPA) targets.
• Advise agency partners on keyword analysis, bid management, negative keyword strategies, ad creative, and landing page strategy.
• Manage paid search campaigns internally with strong practical experience in strategy, configuration, and optimization.
• Translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies within a defined budget.
• Develop digital acquisition strategies focusing on performance marketing channels and tactics.
• Create and optimize marketing and advertising campaigns from concept to completion.
• Develop target customer profiles, positioning, and value propositions for products and services.
• Recommend and implement changes to campaigns and web content to remain competitive and drive conversions.
• Ensure alignment between product, business, and platform priorities in overall strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, paid search, or related fields.
• Strong experience managing paid search campaigns, including strategy, configuration, and optimization.
• Agency management experience, with both agency and in-house marketing background preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive paid search leads and sales growth, especially in recurring service or eCommerce categories.
• Ability to analyze ad platform and web analytics reporting to improve performance.
• Experience working with creative services to produce compelling ad copy and landing pages.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with ambiguity.
• Must be a self-starter and capable of leading strategy and execution.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Google AdWords Certification and Google Analytics Certification are a plus.

• Agency experience and agency management experience.
