About the Role

As a Part-Time Strategic Initiatives Specialist, you will support the Cross-Affiliate Marketing team on various projects to enhance online visibility and drive organic traffic to the bank's websites. This role is part of Zions Bancorporation's expanding marketing team, which is reimagining marketing strategies under new leadership to connect more effectively with customers and support multiple lines of business across the western U.S. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a legacy brand known for exceptional service, community roots, and a dynamic, innovative marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in execution of digital marketing projects, including social media and email marketing campaigns
Optimize website content (meta tags, headings, and content structure) to ensure content accuracy and a positive user experience
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop SEO strategies and boost organic web traffic
Conduct keyword research and analyze SEO trends to improve ranking opportunities
Monitor digital ads, SEO campaign development, rankings, traffic, etc. for recommended improvements
Build high-quality backlinks from relevant websites
Research and knowledge share SEO, digital advertising, and web development trends with the management team
Assist in building presentations and finalizing marketing deliverables
Contribute to additional marketing tasks or strategic projects based on organizational needs, ad-hoc reporting or support as requested by the Office of the CMO

Requirements

Working towards a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations or another related field
Demonstrated knowledge of SEO (preferred)
Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Ability to work effectively with people
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
