About the Role

The Partner Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is responsible for developing and executing content strategies that empower channel (reseller and distributor) and alliance partners to effectively market, sell, and implement networking technology solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of B2B technology marketing, excellent content creation and communication skills, and a passion for fostering successful partnerships. The position is within Extreme Networks, a global leader in cloud-driven networking solutions committed to innovation, inclusion, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive partner content strategy aligned with company marketing and sales objectives.
  • Collaborate across product marketing, partner marketing, product management, sales, and SE teams to gather necessary information and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling differentiated messaging for partners and their customers.
  • Create a variety of high-impact content assets including partner case studies, solution briefs, whitepapers, presentations, partner sales playbooks, competitive analysis summaries, email templates, social media posts, and website copy.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, messaging consistency, and legal requirements.
  • Equip partners with readily accessible and relevant marketing and sales tools and collateral through our partner portal or other channels.
  • Develop and deliver partner training materials such as webinars and product demos to enhance their understanding of solutions and competitive differentiation.
  • Offer personalized guidance and support to targeted partners on their go-to-market strategies and marketing initiatives.
  • Support partners in maximizing the impactful utilization of Market Development Funds (MDF) for joint marketing activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, understanding their needs and challenges.
  • Serve as a product marketing bridge between Extreme and its partners, facilitating effective communication and information exchange.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment, advocacy, and support for partner programs.
  • Engage with partners regularly through meetings, calls, and events to foster collaboration.
  • Track and analyze the performance of partner marketing programs and campaigns, reporting on ROI.
  • Leverage data and feedback to identify trends, improve content and strategies, and optimize partner engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field / equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience (5-7+ years, adjusted based on level) in partner marketing, channel marketing, or content marketing within the networking technology sector.
  • Deep understanding of the networking technology industry, including products, services, market trends, and competition.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into accessible and engaging content.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, measure campaign performance, and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining strong relationships with partners and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo) and partner portals.
  • Experience with project management and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
