About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the development and execution of Business/Product plans for the assigned portfolio.
• Create clearly defined product requirements to enable development teams to design targeted solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Oversee results from both a product cost and revenue perspective, making appropriate recommendations and coordinating efforts related to warranty, COGS/margin management, inventories, product installation, maintenance, and service support.
• Visit customers and key contacts to support market research activities, including market sizing, end-user segmentation, and identifying new market and business opportunities.
• Specify market and Keystone Customer requirements for current and future products and offers.
• Define and manage the product strategy, including product definition, business case assessment, new product introduction, and lifecycle management.
• Improve existing products, introduce new products and offers, and decide on discontinuing or outsourcing products to cost-effective partners.
• Develop product pricing strategies and support key pricing adjustments.
• Create value propositions with Technical Marketing and Professional Services to support customer value, product differentiation, and market trends.
• Coordinate with Marketing Communications to manage advertising, tradeshows, seminars, customer events, and marketing collateral.
• Conduct competitive analyses through benchmarking and assess competitive strengths and weaknesses to position products favorably for long-term success.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of optical fiber and production methods.
• MBA or on path: BS in a technical field.
• 5-10 years of demonstrated development and business acumen.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project & Access, Visual Basic, and Power BI.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take high-level direction and execute within a team.
• Proven track record of establishing cohesive teams with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Manufacturing in a high-growth environment.
• Experience in project management.
• Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills to influence and work successfully with varied audiences.
• Ability to train internal and external customers at various technical levels.
• Highly independent with the ability to self-learn solutions with minimal guidance.
• High level of mechanical aptitude to understand customer needs and translate them into design requirements.
• Ability to understand financials and operational metrics to perform analysis and generate impactful plans.
• Willingness and ability to travel globally, attend trade shows, and support remote sales meetings.

• Demonstrated experience in driving growth in fast-growing segments and diverse organizations.

Qualifications
