About the Role

The POS Program Manager is responsible for managing the delivery and implementation of Point of Sale (POS) and eCommerce solutions for clients in North America. The role involves leading program planning, stakeholder and vendor management, system implementation, team coordination, risk and budget management, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The position requires extensive experience with retail POS and eCommerce platforms, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a focus on driving program success and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and align the POS program roadmap with organizational goals.
  • Conduct impact analysis and feasibility assessments for POS initiatives.
  • Create detailed project/program plans including scope, milestones, resources, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, store operations, finance, marketing).
  • Engage with external vendors and technology partners to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with POS hardware and software providers.
  • Lead rollout of POS systems across stores, ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Oversee configuration, customization, and integration of POS solutions with ERP, inventory, and eCommerce platforms.
  • Coordinate testing (UAT, SIT) and pilot deployments.
  • Manage cross-functional teams of developers, QA, business analysts, and operations staff.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies or structured project management processes (e.g., Scrum, PMP).
  • Mentor team members and resolve cross-team dependencies.
  • Identify program risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Track budgets, forecasts, and expenditures to ensure financial control.
  • Ensure proper transition from project implementation to support teams.
  • Monitor system performance post-deployment and lead continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collect feedback from store teams and customers to drive updates and enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to PCI-DSS, data privacy, and security regulations.
  • Maintain thorough program documentation, including SOPs, training material, and project records.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in managing the delivery and implementation of POS and eCommerce solutions.
  • Experience working with leading North American retail customers.
  • Strong domain expertise in Point of Sale and eCommerce, including solution delivery, integration, and lifecycle management.
  • Program leadership experience involving major POS or eCommerce platforms (e.g., Oracle Retail, SAP Hybris, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, product, and engineering teams.
  • Ability to define and align program roadmaps and conduct impact analysis.
  • Experience leading system rollout, configuration, and integration.
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS, data privacy, and security regulations.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and facilitate structured project management processes.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range of $100,000 - $130,000 per year.
