PPC Specialist (Paid Search Specialist) / Digital Marketing Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 30-40+ local business clients by completing builds, optimizations, change requests, and properly notating information for others to reference.
• Use advanced knowledge in online marketing while partnering with account managers to identify and report on key performance indicators and produce successful campaigns.
• Implement analysis of existing PPC campaign performance and prepare actionable insights for improvement to optimize account performance.
• Use Instinct Marketing best practices in digital marketing to develop strategies to achieve client goals in designing, developing, and managing PPC campaigns.
• Use a variety of tools to compile and draw insight from industry data to better understand user trends and behavior.
• Remain current with industry trends and best practices that may be incorporated to optimize accounts.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment when creating and modifying client accounts to ensure ad campaigns positively impact client goals such as ROAS, brand exposure, and congruent ad-to-landing page web copy.
• Attend client meetings either in person or over the phone/Zoom.
• Produce monthly reports for clients and provide client recommendations.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Applications.
• 1-3 years of Google Ads experience.
• Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising Certified.
• Experience working with Google Analytics.
• Experience working with landing page builders such as Unbounce, GoHighLevel, or Instapage.
• Agency and client-facing experience.
• Basic HTML / CSS / JavaScript Knowledge.
• Must currently reside in or near Greater Sacramento, California.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of SEM/PPC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Google Ads Certified.
