About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop vision and set the technology strategy to compete and accelerate the growth of the business.
• Define, design, develop, and implement application-level architecture hosted in the Azure cloud and on-premises on critical core components.
• Create POC projects to demonstrate the feasibility of new approaches or technologies.
• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed, scalable, and resilient architecture and design.
• Provide consulting and direction to solve business problems and manage the process for proper resolution, including updates to executive management.
• Lead small teams (2-3 developers) to implement critical project components and provide management status reports.
• Identify business needs and suggest technical directions.
• Stay current with latest software trends and emerging technologies, recommending opportunities for innovation.
• Establish development standards and make sound business decisions regarding technology implementation.
• Facilitate cross-team communication to guide complex projects and resolve incidents.
• Inspire, mentor, and groom developers to master modern technologies and enhance business domain knowledge.

Requirements

• Master in designing reusable code, testing frameworks with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and ETL frameworks.
• Master in core technologies: Data API, container-based development (Docker), Elastic Search, Relational Database (PostgreSQL), NoSQL (Azure Cosmos DB or Cassandra), and event-driven architecture solutions such as Kafka.
• Strong SQL background with proficiency in advanced SQL concepts for troubleshooting.
• Master in data performance, troubleshooting data issues with quick resolution, and incident management tools like PagerDuty.
• Master in designing, developing, and implementing complex projects using Azure Cloud computing technologies such as Azure AKS, APIM, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Redis, Istio, and Azure AD.
• Master in implementing Microservices Architecture and building/deploying highly automated, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure.
• Expert in modernizing legacy applications to modern Azure cloud technologies.
• Experience in creating sophisticated microservice networks capable of handling high TPS with low latency.
• Experience migrating legacy databases (e.g., Informix) to modern open-source databases like PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery processes, testing frameworks, and tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
• Capable of navigating a rapidly changing landscape by staying updated on latest trends.
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive discussions across business roles.

• Experience with Jira and Agile development methodology.
