Principal Payment Product Management (Digital Payments Core Tech)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the strategy, roadmap, and goals for Digital Payments Core Technologies supporting Digital Payments Products.
• Partner with client-facing product managers and product owners to evaluate existing and desired capabilities, assess commonalities, and create strategic initiatives for multi-tenant technologies.
• Oversee network capabilities such as tokenization, de-tokenization, cryptograms, and token lookup services.
• Assess performance of and shape the structure and direction of new and existing product lines.
• Develop or assist in developing and executing strategic product plans for key initiatives like new products, extensions, or enhancements.
• Evaluate product performance, identify innovations, and address customer needs to improve market performance.
• Manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues within the role to management.
• Identify, monitor, analyze, and interpret key product performance metrics including financials, network volumes, and customer feedback.
• Develop and communicate findings, suggestions, and recommendations for performance improvements.
• Partner with vendors and internal teams such as Sales, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Finance, and Technology for product evaluation, development, management, and enhancement.
• Manage and communicate scope, deliverables, and timelines of projects within pre-set budgets.
• Participate in Agile sprints, planning, and execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop or support sales efforts or go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Social Sciences, Business Administration and Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 6+ years of Product Management or related experience.
• In lieu of education, 10+ years of experience in card payments, network, acquiring, issuing, mobile technologies, digital payments, or related fields including Product Management.
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration and Management.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile methodology.
• 6+ years of experience in card payments, network, acquiring, issuing, mobile technologies, digital payments, or related fields.
• Ability to operate office equipment such as computer, telephone, printer, and calculator.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.
