About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the strategic planning and delivery of integrated Mid-Market and shared ecosystem experiences for our payments and invoicing products. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of the payments industry, exceptional execution and delivery excellence, and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives that enhance our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate a compelling MM product vision and strategy for our payments and invoicing ecosystem, aligning with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that addresses customer needs and positions the company as a leader in the industry.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure cohesive product development and delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct thorough market research and gather customer feedback to identify pain points, opportunities, and emerging trends.
  • Utilize insights to inform product decisions and prioritize features that deliver exceptional value to users.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept through launch and iteration.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate product vision, gather requirements, and ensure alignment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the payments and invoicing ecosystem.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
  • Analyze product performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize user experience and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 10 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in the payments or financial technology industry.
  • Proven track record of leading complex product initiatives that resulted in significant business growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring product managers is highly desirable.
  • Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Understanding of payment processing systems, invoicing platforms, and related technologies.
  • Ability to engage effectively with engineering teams on technical topics.
