About the Role

Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports - including Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and movies; licensed fan favorites; and programming from Prime Video add-on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll and MGM+. All customers, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy even more content for free with ads. Prime Video's technology teams are creating best-in-class digital video experience, with end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for customers. The role involves working on fast-paced, challenging, and varied projects, experimenting with new possibilities, and collaborating with remarkable people. The team is focused on redefining the future of video advertising, leveraging advertising technologies and machine learning to create engaging, non-intrusive ad experiences that delight both streaming customers and advertisers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set a global product vision for Ad CX.
  • Launch high impact products and services that enhance Ad CX and drive business success with advertisers.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, monetization, technical and operational lift, and competing priorities across multiple stakeholder teams.
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers on developing machine learning-based solutions to improve Ad CX on Prime Video.
  • Leverage data-driven decision making and communicate effectively with leaders of all levels.
  • Make recommendations to senior leaders and drive alignment across levels, functions, and organizations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience.
  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Technical proficiency in addressing customer needs and business needs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working directly with engineers on product enhancements.
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree.
