About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic Principal Project Management Specialist to join our Endoscopy PMO Operations team, with a focus on Product Lifecycle Process (PLCP) Governance and Planisware. In this strategic role, you’ll leverage your expertise in medical device product development and project leadership to drive standardization, training, and continuous improvement across our product lifecycle processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on PLCP governance strategies.
  • Influence and align key stakeholders around governance vision and objectives.
  • Develop, track, and report on key product development metrics.
  • Maintain and enhance governance processes, tools, and templates.
  • Design and deliver PLCP training sessions across the division.
  • Ensure compliance and provide guidance to project teams on PLCP standards.
  • Support the planning and execution of governance meetings.
  • Design and facilitate training programs for core team leaders and project managers.
  • Provide coaching and training to project managers to develop improved project management capabilities.
  • Create tools and templates to improve team efficiency and collaboration.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for the Planisware PPM tool.
  • Provide training and support for project managers across the division.
  • Develop user-friendly templates and guidance materials for Planisware.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a B.S.
  • 3+ years of experience in medical device product development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the PLCP lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, risk registers, scope management).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Planner).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in portfolio, resource, and budget management.
  • Hands-on experience with PPM tools, especially Planisware.
  • PMP certification (PMI) strongly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
