Principal Threat Intelligence Researcher

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fused intelligence insights for priority internal stakeholders, tailoring content for informed discussions with customers, media, industry groups, and government organizations, including rapid turnaround requests outside of normal business hours.
• Provide tailored research and analysis for client-based RFIs to support business and security outcomes, leveraging company data, ongoing research, and external sources.
• Develop structured intelligence insights tracking adversary trends, motivations, organizational priorities, and regional and industry targeting patterns to support response efforts for cyber events and threat actor campaigns.
• Create engaging content such as customer briefings, threat reports, and updates on major cyber events, and share insights internally and at security conferences.
• Collaborate with threat analysts, consultants, and engineers across the organization to address complex threats and foster strong relationships.
• Integrate Generative AI, NotebookLM, and other AI/ML solutions across all phases of the intelligence lifecycle to improve workflows, reduce research effort, and accelerate report creation.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of cyber security threat actors, including their tactics, techniques, procedures, tooling, and noteworthy attacks.
• Deep experience with cyber threat intelligence frameworks and analytical techniques.
• Ability to contextualize cyber events and identify patterns relevant to stakeholders.
• Experience triaging and modeling open source data, telemetry, and other intelligence sources, with a preference for experience with Synapse or hypergraphs.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with cross-organizational threat analysts and facilitate collaboration.
• Experience with prompt engineering and leveraging Google's AI capabilities for intelligence product development.
• Strong writing and presentation skills to communicate threat intelligence effectively to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.
• Experience operating under short deadlines, managing multiple tasks, and thriving in complex or ambiguous situations.
• Comfortable adapting to change within a growing team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cyber threat intelligence frameworks and analytical techniques.
• Experience with Synapse or other hypergraph data modeling.
• Experience with prompt engineering and AI tools like Google's AI capabilities.
