About the Role

The SVP of Product - Gateways and Value Added Services at U.S. Bank will lead the Gateway, Data, and Value-added Services product teams to drive product-led growth. This role involves shaping the strategy to increase adoption and migration to the Elavon Payment Gateway and expanding value-added services through the gateway and software experiences. The position is ideal for a strategic, hands-on product leader with deep expertise in AI, payment processing, cloud, data, and SaaS, working within a company committed to building innovative payment solutions and supporting over 1.5 million customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape the Gateway roadmap and migration strategy to drive adoption of payment gateways by migrating customers from legacy gateways to Elavon Payment Gateway globally.
  • Own strategy and roadmap for monetizing value-added products such as fraud tools, tokenization, lending, surcharging, data services, and embedded payouts, and bring new value-added services to market.
  • Lead with an AI-first mindset to reimagine migration strategies and accelerate the evolution of value-added services.
  • Drive the strategy and roadmap for the Elavon Data platform to promote adoption internally and develop new AI-powered value-added services.
  • Manage a team of talented product managers to understand merchant and partner needs and generate solutions to drive growth.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, engineering, UX/UI design, risk, and customer support teams to deliver exceptional product experiences and accelerate adoption.
  • Define, analyze, and communicate key metrics and business trends to stakeholders, ensuring product enhancements align with business goals.
  • Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to internal and external stakeholders, including presenting to senior executives on strategy, progress, and performance.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of product leadership experience, including at least 5+ years in payments, fintech, or SaaS platform roles.
  • Deep understanding of payment gateways, tokenization, and cloud data platforms.
  • Proven success in leading large-scale product migrations and platform transformations.
  • Experience driving product-led growth motions through APIs and value-added capabilities.
  • Strong business acumen and technical fluency, capable of engaging with developers, sales leaders, and C-level executives.
  • Passion for building modern, elegant products that solve real merchant problems.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable with data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to develop relationships with cross-functional teams across Sales, Finance, Engineering, Product, UX, Marketing, and other business partners.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives, cloud-based payment infrastructures, and API-led product development.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
