Job Description

About the Role

The UCS Team is looking for a motivated and experienced Product Lifecycle Project Manager to manage the UCS Rack Products end-to-end Supply Chain. The role involves working with various teams including marketing, NPI, Product Engineering, Contract Manufacturing, and BU to improve product cost, quality, and delivery, and to manage product lifecycle from FCS to EOL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence cross-functional teams in Manufacturing, Engineering, Service, and Marketing to determine strategy and execution of technical solutions in worldwide manufacturing.
  • Partner with GP&F, GSM, and Product Ops counterparts.
  • Oversee functional areas such as Change Management, Compliance, Supply Chain changes, Engineering change implementation, and new PID releases.
  • Manage sustaining critical issues like line stop resolution, CAP accounts, AVL management, and manufacturing process improvement.
  • Develop and execute EOL Strategy and Planning, including Last Time Buy analysis.
  • Perform risk management over product lifecycle including multi-source tech assessment, component, and cost variance.
  • Action planning for product field performance issues related to quality.
  • Monitor, report, and manage critical product lifecycle metrics.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Required
  • 3 Years minimum of Supply Chain and Project Management Experience
  • Experience with product lifecycle management from FCS to End of Life
  • Understanding of NPI product launch process

Nice to Have

  • Functional knowledge of product development methodologies (IE. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Experience and understanding of different manufacturing and fulfillment models (i.e. EMS, OEM/ODM/JDM, Build-To-Stock, Software fulfillment, Country enablement)
  • Experience with data analytic tools (e.g. Tableau, Microsoft Sharepoint, etc.) to apply to business problems
