About the Role

The Product Management Leadership Development Internship Program at Pentair offers ambitious students a 12-week immersive experience focused on innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. Interns work on real-world strategic projects related to product management, supporting various functions such as engineering, marketing, operations, and sales. The program includes mentorship, networking opportunities, workshops, and the chance to present key learnings to leadership, with potential for full-time employment after graduation.

Key Responsibilities

Support product management projects including new product introductions, competitive teardowns and research, portfolio analytics, and lifecycle management.
Assist in market research and consumer segmentation to support insights for new product development and strategic planning.
Support category-level initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and operations on tasks such as price quotations, product certification, VOC, and forecasting.
Support cross-functional initiatives not led by product management, including certification and regulatory compliance, value engineering initiatives, and sustaining projects for operations.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business (Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Management), Engineering, or related field from an accredited university.
Enrolled as a junior undergraduate with a preferred graduation date of Spring 2027.
Strong interest in pursuing Pentair's full-time Product Management Leadership Development Program upon graduation.
Willing to relocate and work in locations throughout the United States during the program.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to Have

Experience or interest in product management, engineering, marketing, or related fields.
Previous internship or project experience in product development or market research.

Qualifications

Enrolled as a junior undergraduate student in a relevant field with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027.
