About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Assistance with the Pricing process: includes price setting, working with sales and product managers to set discount schedules, managing pricing updates, managing pricing across all channels globally, and price positioning analysis.
  • Project management: Assisting or leading execution of new and/or existing business priorities to ensure thorough completion and that timelines are met.
  • Collateral Review: Working with Product Management, Product Marketing, or Commercial leadership to develop and review marketing collateral, customer-facing materials, commercial resources, and training materials.
  • Sales communication: Assisting or leading execution of new and/or existing regularly scheduled sales meetings, including defining frequency & format, agenda development, logistics & preparation, and capturing action items.
  • Market & Data Analyses: Assisting or leading the maintenance or creation of market analysis and other data analyses such as competitor profiling, pricing, market positioning, benchmarking, and revenue/customer profiles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in scientific field, or 2-5 years of equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Relevant laboratory or technical experience preferred.
  • Basic, functional knowledge about the product(s), their uses, competitors, and the marketplace.
  • Aptitude in product/customer/sales analysis to define successful strategies and launch products.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions to drive projects.
  • Proficient in planning, organization, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, and ability to learn proprietary databases and ERP solutions.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel up to four times a year as required.
