The Mission of Blackhawk Network is to be a market leader in Issuing/Processing Services which provide a highly scalable and feature-rich complete end-to-end solution to issue and process both open loop and closed loop prepaid payment products. The company’s Billing and Settlement Product team is seeking a hands-on Product Manager with strong technical aptitude and experience in collaborating with stakeholder and engineering teams to deliver innovative B2B Billing and Settlement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage from concept to launch, collaborating with internal experts and clients to produce intelligent and insightful products and create holistic solutions partnering with technical program managers and engineers to deliver on product roadmap.
  • Own the launch and release plans, collaborating with Account Managers, Business teams, executive stakeholders, etc. to ensure proper prioritization of product features.
  • Strategically and tactically own product development for Blackhawk's proprietary Billing & Settlement platform for various BHN payment products and solutions (Prepaid - Open Loop, Closed Loop, Digital and Incentive products).
  • Define and ship products in an iterative manner, with a hands-on willingness to do whatever it takes from an execution perspective.
  • Transform product strategy into well-articulated product requirements, using qualitative and quantitative data to inform product direction and prioritization.
  • Communicate clearly with the ability to handle both executive-level discussions and functional/technical deep dives.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant technical product management experience.
  • Specific domain experience building products in Billing, Accounting, Payments (including International), and Reconciliation.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end product launches.
  • Usage of Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in writing Technical and Product Specs / Use case flows.
  • Positive attitude and a collaborative approach towards problem solving.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with technical abilities.
