Key Responsibilities

  • Identify the client's needs, understand larger business objectives, and analyze this information to create a product roadmap that delivers high value and outcomes.
  • Articulate what success looks like for a product and encourage cross-functional teams to turn the vision into reality.
  • Drive product adoption, engagement, and customer satisfaction by prioritizing, managing, and creating new features.
  • Manage the continuous cycle of the product from concept to promotion while listening and exploring customer feedback.
  • Work with agile and non-agile teams including engineering, design, data, marketing, and support to create and deliver features.
  • Define and communicate the high-level mission, vision, and roadmap to cross-functional teams.
  • Prioritize new features based on customer needs aligned with the firm's strategy, goals, and technical capabilities.
  • Perform user research and data analytics to form hypotheses and translate product requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate requirements into wireframes and high-fidelity designs, focusing on customer experience.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to facilitate collaboration and communication across the firm.
  • Work with development and engineering teams to build A/B/C tests to validate hypotheses and use data to suggest improvements.
  • Define leading indicators, KPIs, and metrics to measure the success of features and experiences.
  • Apply agile methods and processes to promote a disciplined Scaled Agile Framework that encourages inspection and adaptation.
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to test hypotheses, identify consumer needs, and validate solutions.
  • Foster communication with senior business leaders to create a transparent product roadmap aligned with firm goals.
  • Travel up to 30% by car and/or air for local, regional, and national travel.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage and develop products with measurable results.
  • Proven experience making decisions backed by user research, data analytics, A/B testing, user testing, and market analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels and communication methods.
  • Solid understanding of technical problems and their impact on engineering and organization.
  • Experience with Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework, Agile, or Scrum processes.
  • Ability to gather and listen to information to make unbiased decisions aligned with firm strategy and policies.
  • Basic SQL reading and writing skills.
  • Experience working in Wealth Management and Market Data Platforms.
  • Experience with FactSet and/or Beta Nxt is a plus.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in finance, technology, analysis, leadership, or product management.
