Product Manager - AI & Localization

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own product roadmaps with a focus on AI-driven capabilities and international readiness (localization, regional compliance, cultural adaptation).
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, AI/ML teams, and localization specialists to develop and launch global-ready features.
• Translate complex customer needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and feature specs.
• Work with go-to-market (GTM) teams including sales and marketing to ensure successful product launches and positioning.
• Leverage data, customer feedback, and market research to optimize product performance and user experience across geographies.
• Partner with localization and content teams to implement scalable internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) strategies from early product development stages.
• Maintain strong understanding of emerging trends in generative AI, machine learning, and localization technology.
• Act as a subject matter expert and evangelist for localization and AI-driven personalization across internal teams.
• Define KPIs and track product success metrics, iterating rapidly based on results.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS, AI, or platform-based businesses.
• Proven track record of owning and delivering successful, user-centric products with global relevance.
• Strong working knowledge of localization best practices, technologies, and international product rollout strategies.
• Experience in or strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, ideally generative AI and NLP.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, localization, and sales).
• Experience managing complex product roadmaps and leading agile development cycles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product vision and strategy to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Linguistics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience launching multi-language products or platforms in global markets.
• Familiarity with localization platforms (e.g., Smartling, Transifex, Phrase, or Lokalise).
• Exposure to tools and models in AI/ML, such as LLMs, recommendation engines, or translation automation.
