Product Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Complete product line responsibility (product, promotion, pricing, and channel) for a defined portfolio of products.
• Develop and implement product line growth strategies (new/existing customers, market penetration, geography, channel).
• Monitor and drive marketing communication needs for the product line (promotions, catalogs, social media, web presence).
• Investigate market needs for innovative products and collaborate with Engineering on product development priorities.
• Conduct market research through trade associations, internet investigation, and corporate services.
• Support field sales and distributors to drive sales and maintain premier customer service.
• Support Winovation new product development team for products in discovery and beyond stage 3.
• Develop and perform product line training for field sales, channel partners, and customers.
• Maintain high level of applications knowledge and continually improve related skills.
• Monitor competitors and develop response strategies.
• Develop and lead IME strategies (existing product innovations, modifications, extensions).
• Travel frequently to customer and channel locations for technical support and training.
• Monitor sales and margin results, track performance, and recommend actions.
• Monitor product and market trends and suggest appropriate responses.

Requirements

• 4-year college degree, preferably in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or related Business Management.
• 5+ years of experience in field sales of related industry.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Applications).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Travel up to 25%.
