About the Role

As a Product Manager for the Accelerate Platform at Workday, you will play a crucial role in supporting the product vision and execution for GenAI developer tools and services. You will contribute to the product roadmap, prioritize features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of Workday developers and end users. The role involves working closely with product, engineering, design, and partner teams in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on AI technologies and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Support the definition and communication of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Accelerate Platform, working in close collaboration with product and software engineering leadership.
Assist in translating product strategy into clear technical requirements and user stories, fostering collaboration and shared understanding between product and engineering teams.
Work very closely with software engineering to define, prioritize, and execute on the product backlog, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with product goals.
Contribute to the analysis of customer, user, and platform performance, providing data and insights to inform product and engineering decisions.
Help establish and track key platform metrics to measure results and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with engineering.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and UX, to gather requirements, address dependencies, and ensure successful platform delivery.
Conduct product discovery activities, including research, competitive analysis of tools, and data analysis, to inform platform development.
Document product requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to guide software engineering efforts.
Communicate product and platform updates and progress to stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and the software engineering organization.

Requirements

5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS company.
2+ years delivering ML/AI products or features.
Experience researching and prototyping new technical capabilities.
End to end implementation experience including issue management, communication, and change management.
Strong project management skills including defining project scope, establishing timelines, coordinating resources, and managing delivery.
Strong presentation and communication skills addressing senior leaders and executive audiences.
Experience leading and building PMOs for large organizations with Program Managers partnering with product teams and business units.
