Product Manager - Data Center Connectivity

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the product roadmap for connector solutions targeting hyperscale and enterprise data center customers.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements.
• Collaborate with Tier 1 cloud providers, OEMs, and infrastructure partners to gather VOC (Voice of Customer) and support product evaluations.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams to drive product development and commercialization.
• Translate customer and market needs into clear technical requirements and value propositions.
• Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events (25-50% travel required).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field (advanced degree a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in product management, applications engineering, or technical sales—preferably with a focus on fiber optic connectivity, data centers, or high-performance computing.
• Deep understanding of fiber optic connectors, cabling infrastructure, and network architectures.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to develop business cases, perform market analysis, and assess ROI for new product initiatives.
• Familiarity with PLM systems, CRM tools, and MS Office. Experience with CAD or simulation software is a plus.
