Key Responsibilities
- Lead the product strategy and performance for PC/ABS Compounds and PMMA Resins in North America.
- Manage profitability, pricing execution, demand forecasting, and cross-functional alignment across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
- Own the product-level P&L including price, mix, and supply allocation.
- Lead the consensus demand forecast (volume and price) in collaboration with Sales and Demand Planning.
- Review and challenge forecast assumptions to ensure realism and market alignment.
- Track and explain forecast vs. actual performance; identify and implement corrective actions.
- Define and enforce pricing strategy, including setting price guidance and approving deal assumptions.
- Analyze market dynamics and recommend strategic pricing actions to protect or grow margin.
- Lead product lifecycle management decisions including rationalization, repositioning, and growth strategy.
- Chair the North America Engineered Solutions BMT, ensuring alignment across Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.
- Sponsor and support capital projects aligned with product and business strategy.
- Provide commercial leadership in new product development projects, including business case and go-to-market input.
- Support the implementation of the Sustainability Roadmap for the Engineered Solutions portfolio.
- Partner with Finance on budgeting, variance analysis, and financial outlooks.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities.
- Support execution of customer strategy in partnership with the regional Sales organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in engineering or chemistry).
- 5+ years of experience in product management in a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to Finance (e.g., controlling), Supply Chain strategy, and operations.
- Experience in the plastics or chemical manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
- Strong business acumen and leadership capabilities.
- Solid financial knowledge, especially P&L, cash flow, working capital, and investment cases.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of identifying cost and price improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Structured, decisive thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the plastics or chemical manufacturing industry.
