About the Role

The Product Manager - ERP, AI, Payroll at Trimble Viewpoint is responsible for guiding a team to improve construction payroll workflows within the company's ERP solutions. The role involves developing new products, increasing profitability of existing products, and creating innovative solutions based on payroll and accounting experience. The manager will work closely with various departments, including engineering and marketing, to define product requirements, strategy, and go-to-market plans, while serving as an internal and external evangelist for the product.

Key Responsibilities

Own the Product Strategy: Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the construction payroll product, aligning it with overall company goals and market opportunities.
Deeply Understand Construction Payroll: Become a subject matter expert in construction payroll intricacies, including certified payroll, prevailing wages, union rules, multi-state taxes, job costing, labor burden, and fringe benefits.
Prioritize & Roadmap: Define and build the strategic roadmap for integrating AI-driven insights and processes within construction ERP, managing the product lifecycle from ideation to tactical initiatives.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with other product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to develop and maintain product roadmaps and features.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, including analyzing potential partner relationships.
Be a Product Evangelist: Communicate the value and benefits of the payroll product to internal stakeholders and external customers.

Requirements

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant fields.
Strong domain expertise in payroll, especially in construction-specific payroll challenges and regulations such as prevailing wages, certified payroll, and union rules.
Familiarity with accounting principles related to payroll and labor costing.
Experience with SaaS products in the construction technology space.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Deep understanding of financial payroll workflows and accounting methodologies.
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional initiatives with effective prioritization.
Experience in data analytics and visualization.
Experience managing project backlogs and prioritization.

Nice to Have

CPP certification (preferred).

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant fields.
