Product Manager II, Generative AI, YouTube

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Own, deliver, and execute the strategy and roadmap for innovations and improvements for the core media generation, user control and asset management, and user feedback experiences.
• Define the metrics to measure media generation performance in production and collaborate with partner teams to come up with a shared understanding of success metrics.
• Partner with teams across YouTube to define new use cases for generative media creation.
• Partner with Legal, Privacy, Trust and Safety, and go-to-market teams on user feedback/controls and asset management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking consumer-facing products from conception to launch.
• 1 year of experience launching Generative AI-powered products.

Nice to Have

• 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting).
• 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
• 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
• Experience with video editing/creation and AI/ML creator tools.
• Experience in user facing launches and identifying new product market fit.

Qualifications

• Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

• US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
• Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education.
