About the Role

Position Summary... Are you a bilingual (Spanish/English) product manager that is passionate about data commercialization and experience transforming raw data into actionable insights? Join Walmart Data Ventures and report directly to the Director of Product Management, leading the charge in expanding our market presence in Canada, Mexico, and beyond. Collaborate with cross-teams, prioritize product development, and lead data-driven decisions to deliver value to our global partners. Walmart Data Ventures exists to unlock the full value of Walmart's data by developing and productizing B2B data programs that empower merchants and suppliers to make better, faster decisions for the business. Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the roadmap to address customer needs
  • Collaborate with cross-teams for seamless product delivery
  • Be the go-to-expert for product offerings, promoting our value proposition
  • Use insights from data to inform product improvements
  • Assess product performance metrics, identifying insights and implement improvements based on data-driven decisions
  • Fortify your connection with your customers to understand their needs to inform the roadmap
  • Map opportunities in user stories, flow diagrams, and wireframes
  • Organize the sprints, prioritize the product backlog, and provide clarity around requirements to the product development group
  • Communicate your product development progress to our organization
  • Define and document functional and non-functional requirements, track prioritization and own delivery of products/features through partnership with Engineering, Design and Data stewardship teams
  • Manage user acceptance testing of functional requirements

Requirements

  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • 3+ years in product management, including 2+ years in the B2B space
  • 2+ years of experience in the retail industry
  • Experience working with sales, engineering, and account management teams
  • Experience working with international partners and managing communication challenges
  • Experience in launching customer-grade applications
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools such as SQL and BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI
  • Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners in writing user stories, mapping user journeys, wireframing, and creating workflow diagrams
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences and translating them into business requirements
  • Ability to partner with global teams across different time zones
  • Experience communicating with customers where English is their second language
  • A user-centric product management approach
  • Familiarity with the market research domain

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English

Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in product management
  • Option 2: 5 years’ experience in product management or related area
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 2 years’ experience as a product manager
  • Knowledge in creating inclusive digital experiences, implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility standards
