Product Manager of Transportation and Warehouse Managements Systems

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discussions with and advocate for our internal customers.
• Ensure solutions are understood by business and IT stakeholders and appropriately chartered.
• Lead the demand management intake and prioritization / roadmap for their area of responsibility.
• Lead team of contributors to employ the best methodologies and strategies to optimize performance and continuously analyze evolving business needs.
• Gather requirements from internal customers to ensure they are clearly understood, aligned with business strategies, effectively communicated and tracked, including defining success criteria and what 'done' looks like.
• Write user stories, specifications, and develop process workflows. Responsible for acceptance criteria for readiness for development.
• Optimize backlog across multiple stakeholders to improve quality and time-to-market of changes requested.
• Participate in Agile cadence such as Scrum standups, backlog grooming, review, and retrospective meetings.
• Report to leadership on productivity and value of features.
• Work closely with training and business teams on change management efforts.
• Write and communicate release plans and support customers with customer service and help desk teams.
• Support organization of work, portfolio management, and prioritization.
• Establish and maintain agreements between team members on requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Product ownership or product/program management experience (3 years preferred).
• Experience with Route Optimization, Inbound & Outbound freight, and Inventory Tracking and Movement (2 years).
• Experience with WMS/WES platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan).
• Experience working within Agile methodology (1 year+).
• Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas to technical, business, and leadership teams.
• Strong analytics skills.
• Strong business acumen.
• Experience with development tools including Atlassian or JIRA.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Up to 10% travel required.
• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with UX technologies.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution sectors.
• Experience managing change management programs.
• Experience working with various stakeholders in technical solutions development.
• Excellent technical depth in requirements development.
• Experience running pilot programs and A/B testing.
• Gathering and analyzing feedback related to product development.
• PMP certification.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
