About the Role

The Product Manager, Provider Connectivity & Infrastructure at Cisco is responsible for driving product development and delivery within the Provider Connectivity Team, which delivers world-class routing infrastructure for Cisco's Web and Service Provider routing business. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into actionable features, developing strategic roadmaps, and supporting growth and market share expansion in a high-revenue environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic marketing plans for a product or product line through market research, customer engagement, competitive analysis, pricing, and business planning.
  • Drive new business and opportunities for the business unit and technology group.
  • Develop innovative product features and functionality in partnership with Engineering.
  • Provide customer use-case examples to Engineering and act as the primary liaison for customer feedback and requirements with R&D.
  • Drive resolution of customer satisfaction issues and handle issues related to ordering, systems, tools, and manufacturing supply.
  • Forecast and help drive opportunities for product lines with annual revenues from $100M to multi-billion dollars.
  • Identify areas for growth and craft strategic product line roadmaps to drive adoption and differentiation.
  • Develop and execute campaigns across various markets, including media releases, launch materials, customer presentations, videos, podcasts, and sales training materials.

Requirements

  • BS/MS/CS in Engineering or Related Fields (MBA a plus).
  • 3+ years of product management experience formulating product roadmaps.
  • Experience with Market Research, Competitive Analysis, Data Pipelines, and Strategic Planning.
  • Experience with Networking and Cloud solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning models.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, SQL, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies.

  • Published research or industry contributions.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Engineering or related fields, with an MBA considered a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of product management experience in roadmapping and product development.
  • Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Experience with networking and cloud solutions.
