Product Manager - ShotLink

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the growth, support, and delivery of the PGA TOUR's ShotLink execution onsite, including infrastructure that supports scoring, broadcasting, marketing, and tournament operations.
• Define product vision, strategy, and milestones; manage the design and implementation of applications (hardware and/or software) across the suite of ShotLink services.
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to develop digital and physical products and services; work closely with developers, vendors, designers, and end users to improve the product and advance the product roadmap.
• Manage the overall product roadmap, communicate milestones and value drops, and proactively engage with stakeholders for continuous feedback.
• Lead development of product including software and hardware, translating organizational milestones into meaningful applications and experiences that satisfy TOUR priorities.
• Partner with the project management team to ensure all work is delivered on time.
• Act as the 'voice of the user' for scoring tech, tournament producers, scoring officials, and tournament staff to build tools that support their work, using end user requirements to drive feature implementation and optimization.
• Engage technology and field teams to determine the best technical implementation methods and schedules.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on potential value and effort, monitor product KPIs, and identify opportunities for product enhancements.
• Evolve product strategy based on research, analytics, and industry trends.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing and provide product sign-off/approval prior to implementation, ensuring product quality across manufacturing where appropriate.
• Translate end user needs into tangible applications, utilizing user research to validate business requirements.
• Build strong relationships across golf technology and adjacent departments; collaborate and influence laterally and to leadership.
• Some travel required.
• Handle special projects or other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or Engineering, Information Systems, or an adjacent degree with relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience, including at least 3 years in product management or product design, focusing on software products and technologies.
• Strong understanding of agile practices including backlog management and experience working with Project Management.
• Deep experience managing and directing vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of UX/UI and consumer research best practices related to successful product development.
• Knowledge of camera tracking, LiDAR, GPS, RTK technologies preferred.
• Ability to use script languages a plus.
• Understanding of cloud-based architecture.
• Extensive golf knowledge and interest in golf required; preferred knowledge of PGA TOUR events and scoring.
• Ability to manage multiple products and meet deadlines under pressure in a team environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to high-quality work that meets PGA TOUR brand and fan standards.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of camera tracking, LiDAR, GPS, RTK technologies.
• Ability to use script languages.
