About the Role

The Product Marketing Director, Women's Health at Kerry is a key member of the health 'pod team' responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision for the Proactive Health portfolio within specific health need states such as Women's health. The role involves synthesizing global consumer and category insights, collaborating with regional marketing and sales teams to translate platform strategies into go-to-market plans, and driving demand through defining target markets and value propositions. This position offers an opportunity to influence product innovation, market positioning, and growth within a global, science-backed organization dedicated to sustainable nutrition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the where to play and right to win for the category segment by synthesizing global consumer and supplement category market trends in a health need state to develop a global approach to capture the most value for Kerry with science-backed, clinically studied ingredients across supplements, food and beverage, and pet categories.
  • Define new opportunities by developing the Target Product Blueprint, a voice of customer, consumer insight-backed document that defines and prioritizes the jobs to be done, value to be gained, and specifications to be met.
  • Collaborate with the pod team to develop the innovation pipeline through product renovations, research clinical trials, and new-to-the-world solutions to meet the needs of defined new opportunities within the target product blueprint.
  • Manage continuous growth by creating an innovation pipeline with outputs every 1, 3, and 5 years, correlating with horizon one (new positioning), horizon two (research clinical trials), and horizon three (new to the world products).
  • Partner with product management to benchmark new growth opportunities, portfolio gaps, new products, renovations, clinical trials, and M&A against the target product blueprint, and recommend build or buy approaches.
  • Develop business cases to evaluate, prioritize, and balance solution elements, facilitating choices around new products, renovations, and research to ensure the best global solution for Kerry.
  • Lead the health platform 'deep dives' including consumer and category market trends, opportunity sizing, competitive analysis, and internal capability assessment to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and portfolio gaps within the health portfolio and partner with product management to recommend build vs. buy strategies.
  • Own, maintain, and evolve Kerry's global positioning in health and all 'hero' technologies underneath the health platform.
  • Create 'plug and play' global health content toolkits for regional mobilization.
  • Lead new product launches for the health platform, including value proposition creation, content development, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with R&D on internal new product innovation projects, collaborating on the design and strategic objectives of clinical studies.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; strong presentation and positioning skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority; strong entrepreneurial mindset; ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strategic planning experience with the ability to design and organize strategies for competitive advantage.
  • Excellent team and leadership skills, with experience working cross-functionally at all organizational levels.
  • Capable of leading and facilitating efficient meetings and workshops, training sales, and holding people accountable.
  • Ability to develop networks and manage stakeholders with clear, trustworthy communication.
  • Strong project management and change management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Highly organized with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time.

Nice to Have

  • B2B marketing experience in a global organization.
  • Experience in the supplements or nutraceutical industry.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum BS in Business or Marketing with 10+ years of relevant experience or MBA with 8+ years in business/marketing.
  • Master's degree or higher in a related nutrition, medical, or food science field related to key health platform categories (Cognitive, Digestive, Immune, Women's, CIA).
