Job Description

About the Role

The chief product marketing manager drives customer adoption of NI products and solutions for automated test and measurement through a wide range of tactics including execution outbound marketing activities and sales training & enablement. This role will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team in the creation and execution of a go-to-market plan for a given product or application area, and is responsible for the success of the product line revenue. Successful candidates are outstanding leaders with strong communication skills, strategic acumen, and deep knowledge of NI's products, value proposition, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads a cross-functional team to develop a Go-to-Market plan for target application areas
  • Works alongside integrated marketing counterparts to define and execute plans for market awareness and demand generation
  • Is the single source of truth to represent the value proposition and differentiation for products, synthesizing input from internal and external partners
  • Mentors junior product marketers to develop skills and understanding of product and application differentiation
  • Leads development of both product and application level marketing content for automated test and customer-facing messaging
  • Creates content including demos, whitepapers, presentations, videos, and more

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in test engineering development or other technical roles
  • Strong familiarity and belief in NI software (LabVIEW, TestStand, Flexlogger, etc.) and NI hardware platforms (PXI and cDAQ/cRIO)
  • Exceptional strategic and business acumen with the ability to lead through influence
  • Strong communication skills, including technical writing and presenting
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative work ethic
  • Some national and international travel required (5-10%)
