Job Description

About the Role

Payscale is the original compensation innovator for organizations who want to scale their business with pay and transform their largest investment into their greatest advantage. With decades of innovation in sourcing reputable data and developing AI-powered tools, Payscale delivers actionable insights that turn pay from a cost to a catalyst. Its suite of solutions — Payfactors, Marketpay, and Paycycle — empower 65% of the top companies in the U.S. and businesses like Panasonic, ZoomInfo, Chipotle, AccentCare, University of Washington, American Airlines, and TJX Companies. The company fosters an employee-centric, remote-first environment that supports flexible work arrangements and continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own our market intelligence program—monitoring industry trends, tracking competitors, and surfacing actionable insights to inform product and marketing strategy.
  • Manage our win/loss analysis process—identify patterns in buyer behavior, synthesize learnings, and deliver reporting that helps us understand what's working and what's not.
  • Support the operational execution of product launches, ensuring timely alignment and coordination across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify asset needs and develop content such as talk tracks, battlecards, one-pagers, and pitch materials that drive adoption and win rates.
  • Act as a key partner to Product, Revenue, and Enablement teams to ensure tight alignment across messaging, positioning, and market feedback loops.
  • Use tools like Gong, Salesforce, Seismic, and Tableau to inform strategy, measure content performance, and track competitive movement.
  • Help shape messaging frameworks and contribute to content development for campaigns, sales plays, and customer communications.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, GTM, or a related role—interest in product marketing as a next career move.
  • Previous experience ideally working for a B2B SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of market and competitive intelligence practices, with experience building or contributing to win/loss programs.
  • An understanding of developing sales assets and some project management execution.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales and Enablement teams.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; familiarity with tools like Gong, Salesforce, and Asana is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
