About the Role

The Product Marketing Manager - National Hardware at ASSA ABLOY is responsible for developing and executing product plans to expand and grow the builder's hardware portfolio. This role involves leading product management support across various channels including retail, field sales, online, MRO, and light commercial, with a focus on driving growth and innovation within the category. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and engagement with senior internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams through multiple ongoing product development projects at various stages of development via HHI milestone process.
  • Drive product road development and manage research initiatives to establish fact-based business and marketing strategies.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, product adjacencies, customers, and markets.
  • Develop NPI scope documents including preliminary financials, KPIs, and timeline management.
  • Manage the sales and gross margin performance of the portfolio, including setting pricing, P&L, and asset management.
  • Participate in customer line review planning and execution.
  • Provide commercial inputs to value engineering and material cost take-out initiatives.
  • Create and deliver training modules for internal and external customers.
  • Support brand guidelines to ensure consistency in packaging, merchandising, and collateral.
  • Support installation workshops, videos, and related initiatives.
  • Contribute to financial and business initiatives such as sales and operations planning and inventory initiatives.
  • Manage product documentation, content on internal and customer websites, and generate reports and tools as needed.
  • Manage special projects related to product management and business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Sales, Marketing, Channel Management, and/or Product Development.
  • Experience in building products and/or consumer products preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or product development.
