Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and strategic Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for our Digital Identity and Web Experience products. In this dual-focused role, you'll be responsible for the entire user journey, from initial identity creation and secure access to the web experiences that follow. You will manage the backlog and prioritize feature development for both our Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) services and our primary customer and distribution-facing web platforms. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of both secure identity management and engaging user experience design. This role requires strong collaboration skills, as you'll work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and business stakeholders to drive key outcomes and deliver exceptional digital experiences for our distribution partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for both Digital Identity (CIAM) and Web Experience products.
  • Ensure that this strategy aligns with overall business goals and a positive customer and distributor experience.
  • Own and manage the product backlog for both teams, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritizing features based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, engineering, design, and other teams. Clearly communicate product roadmap, priorities, and project status to all relevant parties.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle for all aspects of customer and distribution partner identity management, prioritizing initiatives related to SSO, MFA, password management, and account provisioning.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and security best practices to continuously improve CIAM services.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements for primary customer and distributor-facing websites, focusing on usability, performance, and user satisfaction.
  • Work with the design team to ensure a cohesive and intuitive user experience across all digital touchpoints.
  • Leverage analytics and user feedback to inform decisions and optimize web experience metrics.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
  • Provide guidance and clear direction to engineering and design teams.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both product areas and use data to make informed decisions about future development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role.
  • Proven experience in managing a product or service with a focus on customer identity and access management (CIAM) and/or digital web platforms.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Deep understanding of CIAM principles, including SSO, MFA, and credential management.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies, UX/UI principles, and a user-centered design approach.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using data to drive product decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a passion for creating secure, intuitive, and engaging digital products.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership.

  • Experience managing identity & access management solutions.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and industry trends in digital identity.
  • Experience with stakeholder management across multiple teams.
