Product Returns Data Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of return data to identify trends and patterns.
• Gain expertise in understanding customer return behavior.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness in all analyses and reports.
• Collect and organize data related to product returns, including reasons for returns, return volumes, and customer feedback.
• Develop and maintain reports tracking return metrics, KPIs, and industry-specific insights.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate closely with various teams, including supply chain, customer service, data catalog, and product managers to provide data-driven solutions and insights.
• Document analysis methodologies, findings, and solutions for reference and future improvements.
• Leverage automotive knowledge (bonus) to understand challenges and trends associated with returns and collaborate with the product team to ensure data analysis aligns with industry-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, business analytics, or finance.
• Proven experience in data analysis and data visualization.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex data findings effectively.
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
