About the Role

Cintas is seeking a Product Specialist to focus on identifying new product opportunities within the existing customer base. The role involves prospecting, on-site visits, cold calling, setting appointments with prospects, presenting programs, and meeting activity requirements. The Product Development Specialist will utilize customer relationship management systems to document and maintain customer information, produce sales and productivity reports, communicate product details to the service department, and complete new product paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect, conduct on-site visits, and cold call to identify new product opportunities.
Set appointments with prospects and present programs to potential clients.
Meet activity requirements related to sales and customer engagement.
Utilize customer relationship management system to document and maintain customer information.
Produce required sales and productivity reports.
Communicate details of products sold and pre-installation requirements to the service department management team.
Complete paperwork for new product additions.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License.
Minimum of 1 year outside sales experience or successful completion of a Cintas sales training program.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Experience with Internet/Intranet and Contact Management System.

Nice to Have

Bachelor's Degree.
New business-to-business experience.

Qualifications

At least 1 year outside sales experience or completion of a sales training program.
