Professional Services Analyst - Rockerbox

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day work of designing, executing, and analyzing structured tests for Rockerbox clients
• Write SQL queries to extract and clean data from our warehouse
• Use Python or R to structure experiments and build analysis workflows
• Create and maintain Deepnote workbooks (or similar notebooks) to visualize test progress and results
• Translate findings into clear, actionable presentations for our customers
• Troubleshoot edge cases, data issues, and client-specific nuances
• Occasionally use external data (e.g., Google Analytics) to support an analysis or supplement insights

Requirements

• 1-2 years professional experience in a consulting, data analysis, or similar environment
• Experience writing SQL in a real-world environment (e.g., school projects, internships, or job settings)
• Proficiency in Python and / or R
• Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail, especially when working with incomplete or inconsistent datasets
• A creative approach to problem-solving using data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills-you're comfortable presenting your work

Nice to Have

• Experience working with ecommerce or marketing data
• Familiarity with GA4 or other client-side analytics platforms
• Prior experience building code notebooks in a platform such as Deepnote or Jupyter

Qualifications

• Experience in a consulting, data analysis, or similar environment
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R
• Experience with BI tools

Benefits & Perks

• Salary range between $54,000 - $92,000 based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location
• Eligibility for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits
