About the Role

As a Program Manager on the Asia Operations and Delivery Support team at Westinghouse, you will manage project management processes for medium to high complexity projects supporting Commercial Nuclear Power Plants in Asia. The role involves implementing project management tools and practices, ensuring contractual requirements are met within scope, and supporting commercial discussions. You will lead project teams of up to 15 people, including Project Controls, and report to the Sr. Director of Project Management Excellence. The position is based at the Warrendale, PA facility with a mobile component requiring 2-3 days on-site and estimated travel of 10-20%. Key Responsibilities

  • Complete all aspects of project planning, including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
  • Support delivery of all project aspects such as scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, and communications, following an integrated change management process.
  • Support project closure activities by archiving work, performing final quality assessments, and identifying opportunities for improvement and lessons learned.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with team members, customers, suppliers, in-country representatives, and other partners to ensure successful project completion.
  • Promote continuous improvement within the team by identifying, assessing, and implementing value-adding opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management or controls experience, or 4+ years of project management or controls experience combined with 4+ years in a technical role in the nuclear, technical, or construction industry.
  • Experience on electrical or I&C projects is a definite advantage but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline, with a focus on electrical and/or I&C being an advantage.
  • Ability or understanding of transforming data into visual reports, managing data within systems, and understanding interactions between company functions such as Finance, Legal, Quality, and Supply Chain.
  • Certifications such as Westinghouse Project Manager or Program Manager qualification, with motivation to pursue or complete Program Manager qualification if not already obtained. PMI Certified Project or Program Management Professional certification or equivalent is also relevant. Additional project controls certifications are a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with project controls-related certifications such as scheduling, estimating, earned value, or risk management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Project Management, Engineering, Business, or Construction Management.
