Project Coordinator-Engineering

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the management of the solar connection process and interconnection application queues in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
• Process applications and coordinate with consultants.
• Handle administrative tasks including managing consultant invoices.
• Facilitate communication with internal stakeholders such as the project management team, DER management, and DER engineering.
• Manage KPIs related to lean processes.
• Coordinate customer communication via Salesforce portal.
• Answer technical customer and developer questions with support from engineering.
• Perform daily reporting on applications and prioritize work based on KPIs.
• Participate in meetings to review application status and track follow-ups from stakeholders.
• Support contract signing process and application flow.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience with a technical background in engineering or project management.
• 2-4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or experience.
• Experience in utility or renewable energy sectors.
• Project management certifications.
• Experience with project coordination/management including meeting facilitation, scheduling, and tracking tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Excel.
• Technical understanding of utilities or electrical engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have

• Experience with utility or renewable energy sectors.
• Project management certifications.

Qualifications

• 2-4-year degree (or equivalent experience).
