Clinical Quality Assurance, part of Optum, has an immediate opening for a friendly, quality and safety focused detailed oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to Lean processes.

Key Responsibilities

Support the clinical quality assurance department
Setting up multiple meetings, managing calendars, and fielding multiple phone line extensions
Administrative support for multiple organizational wide programs including the PH&S program, educational program, employee health programs, and all certification programs
Assist with managing the BLS/ACLS certification program
Assist with proctoring and managing the MA certification program
Assist with administrative duties surrounding onboarding competency creation, tracking, and organizing for compliance
Participate in the administrative efforts to support all quality and safety initiatives for the organization
Ability to use excel programs daily
Ability to create PowerPoint presentations daily
Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
1+ years of experience in an administrative executive role
Advanced level of computer proficiency (multitasking through multiple applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word)
Be able to create excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations daily
Ability to travel 25% of the time to other offices if needed

Nice to Have

Experience working with an electronic health record (EPIC)
Knowledge of Medical terms
Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans

Qualifications

Formal educational background includes High School Diploma / GED or higher
