About the Role
Texas Department of Public Safety requires the services of a Project Manager 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate, who meets the general qualifications of Project Manager 2, Project Management and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Public Safety. Various technology and innovation projects that directly impact the daily operations of DPS to achieve Agency missions, goals, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee various technology and innovation projects impacting daily operations.
- Ensure projects align with agency missions, goals, and objectives.
- Coordinate project activities and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in agile/project management methodologies and practices.
- 3 years of experience leading large, complex technology-related projects.
- 3 years of experience developing and analyzing complex business requirements.
- Candidates must meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements; those who do not may still be displayed to customers but may not be chosen.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Experience documenting business technology challenges.
