This position is located within the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) of the NYS Department of Labor (DOL). The PMO will work with various groups within DOL on inter and intra-unit projects. The role involves project and portfolio management, developing detailed scope statements, documenting project requirements, eliciting business goals, balancing resource options, developing project schedules, managing project budgets, designing quality metrics, developing communication plans, compiling reports, coordinating activities, identifying risks, managing contracts, making schedule change decisions, analyzing project performance, conducting training, and leading project analysis sessions.
