The Project Manager will be part of a strategic, global IT team responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that support Wabtec's mission and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project planning sessions and create comprehensive project plans
Consult with staff members and identify and manage anticipated resistance within each project to be delivered
Create communication and training plans to enable smooth implementation of the strategy
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
Assist in preparing the annual budget, forecasting and timely payment of POs
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report and escalate to leaders as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Requirements

A minimum of 4 years' experience in a Project Manager capacity working on projects closely related to IT
2+ years' experience in high change environments such as digital transformation or IT operations
Track record of helping evolve agile practices in environments with legacy and modern applications
Experience leading geographically diverse teams through influence and best practices
Proven expertise in using remote collaboration tools for communication, brainstorming, and tracking status
Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate with both technical and business professionals

Nice to Have

Usage and experience with ServiceNow, ClickUp, VSTS, Jira, Confluence or similar tools to plan and maintain agile workflows
PMP/PRINCE2 certification
